Nova Scotia reports one more COVID-19-related death and 60 new infections

HALIFAX – Health officials in Nova Scotia are reporting one more death attributed to COVID-19.

Officials are also reporting 60 new cases of the disease since their last report on Nov. 19.

They said today a man in his 90s in the province’s western zone has died.

The new cases include 35 infections in the central zone, 18 in the northern zone, six in the western zone and one case in the eastern zone.

Officials say there are no new infections connected to an outbreak at the East Cumberland Lodge, a long-term care facility in Pugwash, N.S.

A total of 42 people at the facility — 32 residents and 10 staff members — have tested positive since the outbreak, and three residents have died.
